FYI - for those not aware. Megan was born c-section and Hayley was a VBAC
I had my regular ob appointment Tuesday and the doctor said I was dilated to a 4 almost 5. After my apt. I started having contractions that were close and strong.. so naturally when Corey got home from work around 8 pm we went to the hospital. By this time I was dilated between a 5 and a 6 but only 50-75% effaced. I wasn't progressing fast enough on my own and due to the previous c-section they refused to give me any medication to speed things along.
They did however offer me another c-section. I opted out and said I would wait it out. Needless to say we returned home around 2:30 am with no baby and lots of contractions. I am still having contractions just not as close or as strong. Perhaps a long walk will help things along.
Last night while putting the kids to bed Hayley said to me with tears "I just can't wait mom, if the baby doesn't come out soon I'm going to be so mad and frustrated!"

You'll be in our prayers that this baby (and your body) will cooperate. Regardless of the delivery method, I hope new baby Hendrickson is happy and healthy and has all the right parts in all the right places!
